Position Overview

Blockchain, tokenized financial instruments, and decentralized finance (DeFi) are transforming global financial markets. Financial institutions are seeking leaders who can design enterprise-grade digital asset platforms with secure, scalable, and transparent blockchain infrastructure.

The Global Head of Digital Asset Platforms & Blockchain Infrastructure will lead strategic initiatives, architecture, and deployment of blockchain-enabled financial systems in alignment with Bahrain’s fintech ecosystem.

The role focuses on digital asset management, smart contract development, and cross-border blockchain financial networks.

Core Responsibilities

Blockchain Architecture & Digital Asset Platforms

• Design distributed ledger systems capable of secure financial transaction processing.

• Develop tokenized asset platforms and smart contract frameworks.

• Oversee digital asset custody and secure wallet infrastructure.

Financial Ecosystem Integration

• Integrate blockchain platforms with traditional banking and payments infrastructure.

• Ensure interoperability for cross-border digital financial transactions.

Security & Governance

• Implement enterprise blockchain governance protocols.

• Oversee cryptographic security and monitoring of distributed networks.

Strategic Innovation & Market Development

• Identify emerging blockchain trends for integration into financial ecosystems.

• Define long-term digital asset strategy and adoption roadmaps.

Technology Environment

• Enterprise blockchain platforms (Ethereum, Hyperledger, Solana)

• Smart contract development & auditing frameworks

• Distributed ledger monitoring systems

• Digital asset custody and security protocols

• Blockchain interoperability & API integration frameworks

Candidate Profile

Experience: 12–15 years in blockchain, digital asset platforms, or fintech infrastructure strategy.

Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of distributed ledger technologies and digital asset ecosystems.

Leadership Skills: Ability to lead multinational fintech engineering teams and global technology programs.

Strategic Impact

The Global Head will establish next-generation digital financial markets in Bahrain, enabling financial institutions to participate in secure, decentralized, and programmable financial ecosystems with enterprise-grade digital asset platforms.
