Role Overview
The Global Head will lead Oman’s strategic transformation of trade finance through digitization and fintech-enabled cross-border settlement systems. This role demands mastery of blockchain trade platforms, international regulatory navigation, and the ability to position Oman as a global trade finance hub.
Key Responsibilities

Architect digital trade finance platforms leveraging smart contracts, blockchain, and tokenized credit instruments.

Build interoperable cross-border settlement systems integrating SWIFT gpi, ISO 20022, and DLT frameworks.

Design AI-driven credit scoring and risk management tools to enhance trade finance security.

Lead strategic partnerships with multilateral trade organizations, banks, and fintech ecosystems.

Monitor global trends in CBDCs, digital trade corridors, and programmable trade instruments.
Candidate Profile

12+ years in trade finance, cross-border payments, or fintech strategy.

Master’s/PhD in Finance, International Trade, or Financial Technology.

Strong experience in blockchain-enabled trade finance ecosystems.

Familiarity with Oman’s regulatory environment and GCC trade priorities.
