Role Overview
The Global Head will oversee the development of Oman’s next-generation cross-border payment frameworks. This role requires advanced expertise in global settlement networks, CBDC interoperability, and blockchain-based transaction systems to enhance Oman’s role in international financial corridors.
Key Responsibilities

Architect cross-border payment networks integrating blockchain, ISO 20022, and SWIFT gpi standards.

Drive strategies for CBDC integration within Oman’s financial system and regional corridors.

Build secure AI-driven AML/CFT compliance and monitoring systems.

Establish multi-jurisdictional partnerships with regulators, payment providers, and global banks.

Provide strategic foresight on emerging disruptions in digital currencies, remittances, and programmable settlement instruments.
Candidate Profile
-
12+ years in cross-border payments, fintech strategy, or settlement infrastructure.

Advanced qualifications in Economics, Finance, or Payment Systems Engineering.

Proven expertise in blockchain-powered settlements and CBDC initiatives.

Strong understanding of GCC payments ecosystems and Oman’s regulatory landscape.
