Global Executive Director – Fintech Core Systems, Enterprise Ledger Architecture & Transaction Infrastructure – Dubai, UAE

Strategic Mandate

This role is for a senior executive responsible for end-to-end architecture, modernization, and governance of enterprise-level fintech platforms. The mandate encompasses multi-product transaction systems, high-volume ledger engines, real-time reconciliation, cross-border payment rails, and scalable orchestration layers. The Executive Director ensures resilient, auditable, secure, and highly available financial systems aligned with Dubai’s global fintech ambitions.

This role operates fully remotely but requires strategic engagement with multi-disciplinary teams, global technology partners, and regulatory authorities, ensuring the platforms remain at the forefront of innovation, scalability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute architecture strategy for core ledger systems, reconciliation engines, and settlement platforms across multiple geographies

• Lead modernization from legacy batch-based systems to fully real-time, event-driven, and microservices-oriented architectures

• Implement enterprise-wide architectural governance, ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational observability

• Integrate emerging technologies, including distributed ledger, blockchain frameworks, AI-assisted monitoring, and advanced analytics

• Establish resilience, security, and auditability standards, ensuring rapid detection and remediation of anomalies

• Advise executive leadership on long-term platform evolution, technology investment priorities, and risk-resilient infrastructure design

• Serve as the strategic authority on cross-product, multi-system integration, and platform scalability

Required Expertise

• 15+ years in fintech architecture, core banking systems, or enterprise transaction platforms

• Deep mastery of ledger architecture, reconciliation logic, distributed systems, and settlement mechanics

• Advanced knowledge of cloud-native architectures, containerization, microservices, and event-driven systems

• Proven ability to design financially correct, secure, highly available, and scalable systems

Candidate Profile

• Executive-level experience in architectural leadership of complex financial platforms

• Strategic thinker with strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills

• Comfortable managing remote, cross-functional, global teams across multiple domains

Engagement & Compensation

• Fully remote, Dubai-aligned role

• Monthly compensation: AED 100,000 – 150,000

• Long-term strategic mandate with authority over enterprise platform architecture and modernization strategy
