Position Summary
We are seeking a Global Director of Open Banking & Digital API Ecosystems to architect and implement next-generation open finance platforms tailored to Kuwait’s evolving fintech landscape. This role requires a leader capable of designing interoperable API-driven financial infrastructures, fostering data democratization, and enabling seamless cross-border payment ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities

Develop Kuwait-aligned open banking frameworks, compliant with regional and international regulatory protocols.

Build and oversee API marketplaces enabling fintechs, banks, and third-party developers to innovate collaboratively.

Integrate AI-powered authentication, digital identity, and consent management systems to strengthen customer trust and financial security.

Design and operationalize cross-border API-led payment corridors for Kuwait’s regional and global trade networks.

Partner with regulators, cloud service providers, and fintech innovators to establish standardized open data models.
Qualifications

10–15 years’ proven leadership in fintech architecture, digital banking, or open finance ecosystems.

Expertise in cloud-native banking platforms, API lifecycle management, and financial cybersecurity frameworks.

Familiarity with Kuwait’s Central Bank directives and GCC financial interoperability requirements.

Postgraduate degree in Finance, Information Systems, or Digital Transformation.
