Role Context

This appointment is created to provide top-tier strategic and structural leadership over fintech systems and digital financial infrastructure. The Global Director operates at a macro-architectural level, defining how payment ecosystems, transaction platforms, and financial data systems are designed, governed, and evolved over long horizons.

The role is fully remote, with strategic alignment to Oman as a jurisdiction increasingly focused on fintech system maturity and regional financial integration.

Executive Mandate

• Establish long-term strategic direction for digital payments, transaction processing platforms, and fintech infrastructure layers.

• Define system-wide principles for scalability, interoperability, resilience, latency management, and data integrity.

• Develop future-state infrastructure blueprints spanning real-time payments, cross-border settlement logic, and multi-rail transaction ecosystems.

• Produce executive-grade documentation, including infrastructure vision papers, reference architectures, and multi-year evolution roadmaps.

• Evaluate emerging infrastructure paradigms such as programmable payments, distributed settlement frameworks, and AI-assisted transaction orchestration.

• Serve as the final authority on architectural trade-offs, systemic risk tolerance, and infrastructure longevity.

Operating Model

• No operational delivery, people management, or vendor oversight.

• Works conceptually upstream of engineering and downstream of policy interpretation.

• Performance measured by clarity, durability, and strategic coherence of system designs.

Executive Profile

• 18–22 years in fintech infrastructure, payments architecture, or financial systems strategy.

• Deep exposure to high-volume transaction environments and complex financial platforms.

• Exceptional ability to communicate complex systems to senior and international audiences.

• Proven success operating independently in senior remote mandates.
