Position Overview
The Global Director of Digital Banking Architecture & AI-Driven Platform Strategy will lead the restructuring of digital financial ecosystems for the UAE’s rapidly expanding fintech landscape. This role involves architecting large-scale digital banking infrastructures, embedding artificial intelligence, automation, and open finance capabilities into next-generation banking systems serving regional and global clients.
The director will spearhead end-to-end digital core transformation initiatives, ensuring interoperability, resilience, and real-time analytics across all banking and financial service layers.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and global rollout of next-generation digital banking platforms supporting AI-assisted transactions, embedded finance, and digital identity integration.

Architect secure, modular, and API-driven financial systems capable of scaling across multiple GCC jurisdictions.

Integrate machine learning-based decision engines for credit risk optimization, fraud prevention, and predictive financial intelligence.

Collaborate with regulators and payment councils to ensure regulatory compliance, data sovereignty, and digital asset governance.

Oversee the development of multi-cloud infrastructure for scalable and secure fintech deployment across hybrid environments.

Drive research into next-wave banking intelligence, quantum-safe cryptography, and autonomous transaction governance models.
Required Expertise

Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in digital banking, AI-driven architecture, or financial technology innovation.

Proven expertise in core banking modernization, AI systems integration, and multi-market fintech deployment.

Strong command of GCC digital finance regulations, open banking protocols, and next-generation payment infrastructure.

Advanced degree in Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or Digital Systems Architecture.
