Visionary Mandate
As Oman seeks to align its capital markets with long-term environmental and Islamic ethical objectives, this role spearheads the world’s first tokenized Green Sukuk Marketplace, allowing global and regional investors to transparently fund climate-resilient infrastructure, renewable energy, and sustainable development—all compliant with Islamic capital ethics and Shariah-approved structures.
Core Deliverables

Architect a full-stack decentralized marketplace for green, ethical sukuk issuance, exchange, and lifecycle management.

Design smart contract-based Sukuk structures (e.g., Ijara, Istisna’, Wakalah) embedded with environmental impact triggers and coupon logic.

Build transparent ESG scoring oracles aligned with ICMA Green Bond Principles, AAOIFI Shariah Standards, and GCC sovereign green priorities.

Collaborate with the Capital Market Authority of Oman and the Oman Investment Authority to ensure blockchain sukuk adhere to both Islamic legal ethics and national debt issuance frameworks.

Engineer a multilingual investment portal allowing foreign ESG-aligned investors to subscribe, track, and redeem Sukuk in real time.

Develop liquidity mechanisms (e.g., green sukuk AMMs, staking models) to incentivize secondary market activity.

Integrate climate impact reporting modules that dynamically update sukuk performance and ESG impact using IoT-linked oracle feeds (e.g., solar production data, CO2 offset sensors).
Candidate Specification

12+ years in Islamic capital markets, green bonds/Sukuk, or blockchain debt issuance platforms.

Experience with Solidity, Cosmos SDK, or Tezos-based smart financial instruments.

Knowledge of Islamic finance instruments and their underlying ethical jurisprudence.

Strong understanding of GCC ESG policy shifts and Islamic carbon finance trends.

Comfortable interfacing with Shariah scholars, Omani regulators, and global environmental financiers.
