INVESTIGATIVE MISSION
The Forensic Analyst will examine complex transactional and behavioural datasets to uncover anomalies, suspicious patterns, financial irregularities, and previously undetected relationships within digital-financial ecosystems.
This is a data-intensive position combining forensic investigation, transaction analytics, behavioural modelling, digital-finance intelligence, and evidence-based reporting.
INVESTIGATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyse complex transaction histories and financial datasets.

Identify abnormal transaction sequences and behavioural anomalies.

Investigate relationships between accounts, transactions, entities, devices, and digital activity.

Develop analytical techniques for detecting sophisticated fraud patterns.

Conduct retrospective analysis of financial incidents.

Build investigative timelines and transaction-flow analyses.

Use data to identify recurring patterns and emerging risk indicators.

Produce detailed analytical reports for senior stakeholders.

Collaborate with fraud, cybersecurity, risk, data, and technology teams.

Assist in improving automated transaction-monitoring capabilities.

Validate analytical findings using multiple data sources.

Develop intelligence indicators for emerging financial threats.

IDEAL BACKGROUND

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Economics, Mathematics, or related discipline.

4+ years of experience in fraud analytics, financial intelligence, forensic analysis, fintech, banking, or data analytics.

Strong SQL and analytical programming skills.

Experience investigating large and complex datasets.

Excellent attention to detail and investigative reasoning.

Ability to convert complex analytical findings into concise executive intelligence.
