Job Description:
We are looking for a Remote Fintech UX Researcher to lead user research and discovery initiatives for a neobank initiative tailored to Saudi Arabia’s Gen Z and millennial users. This role blends traditional qualitative research techniques with behavioral analysis and fintech product sensibilities.
The successful candidate will play a central role in helping build products that reflect the preferences, concerns, and digital habits of the modern Saudi customer, with a strong emphasis on trust, simplicity, Sharia compliance, and mobile-first design.
Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth user interviews, surveys, diary studies, and usability tests for mobile-first financial products.

Analyze behavioral data from app usage, onboarding flows, and conversion paths.

Create personas and journey maps specific to the Saudi financial consumer profile.

Lead co-creation workshops with designers, developers, and product stakeholders to align on UX goals.

Explore barriers around digital trust, financial education, and ethical finance in KSA.

Test prototypes for features such as zakat calculators, micro-investment tools, and biometric authentication.

Contribute to localization strategies and culturally-sensitive UI elements for Arabic-speaking users.
Required Skills and Experience:

4+ years of UX research experience, preferably with fintech or mobile-first platforms.

Deep understanding of user-centered design, usability heuristics, and human-computer interaction.

Strong portfolio of past research projects with actionable product impact.

Familiarity with Saudi Arabian digital trends, social values, and fintech usage patterns.

Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills.

Bilingual fluency preferred (Arabic and English).
