As a Subscription & Recurring Payments Coordinator, your work revolves around ensuring that recurring financial transactions—such as subscriptions, memberships, and automated billing—are executed smoothly and accurately.
Step-by-Step Process Flow
Step 1: Subscription Setup & Configuration
- Configure recurring billing schedules based on product plans
- Ensure pricing structures, billing cycles, and payment methods are correctly set up
- Validate customer enrollment into subscription systems
Step 2: Recurring Payment Execution
- Monitor automated billing cycles and ensure successful transaction execution
- Identify failed or declined payments and initiate retry processes
- Coordinate with payment gateways to resolve processing issues
Step 3: Exception Handling
- Investigate failed transactions and billing discrepancies
- Communicate with internal teams to resolve system-related issues
- Ensure customers are updated on payment statuses where necessary
Step 4: Reconciliation & Reporting
- Reconcile recurring payment records with financial systems
- Track subscription revenue and payment success rates
- Prepare periodic reports on subscription performance
