The Fintech Risk Operating Model & Financial Controls Architect is responsible for structuring how fintech platforms govern themselves—embedding discipline, accountability, and transparency into daily operations.
The role is fully remote, with strategic alignment to Saudi Arabia’s expanding fintech ecosystem and broader GCC regulatory expectations.
Strategic Responsibilities

Design enterprise-level risk operating models covering financial, operational, technology, and third-party risks.

Translate regulatory requirements into embedded controls within platform workflows, not standalone policies.

Define control ownership, escalation paths, and accountability frameworks across fintech operations.

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure controls are technically enforceable, not merely documented.

Develop governance artefacts suitable for regulatory review, audits, and senior stakeholder oversight.

Continuously assess the effectiveness of risk frameworks as platforms scale and evolve.
Required Expertise
