Role Purpose
This role is crafted for a fintech professional who specializes in risk, governance, and control frameworks within digital financial ecosystems. Operating remotely while aligned with Saudi Arabia’s fintech direction, the role focuses on ensuring that fintech platforms scale safely, predictably, and within well-defined control boundaries.
The Director will design and oversee enterprise-grade governance structures that support innovation while actively managing operational, technological, and systemic risk.
Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive fintech risk frameworks covering platform, operational, data, and technology risks

Design embedded control structures integrated directly into digital workflows and automated systems

Establish governance models for AI-driven decision systems, automated processes, and algorithmic controls

Define risk metrics, escalation protocols, and reporting standards suitable for senior leadership review

Conduct forward-looking risk scenario analysis for platform growth, transaction volume spikes, and system stress

Translate regulatory expectations into practical, technology-enabled governance mechanisms
