Fintech Risk & Compliance Analyst – Regulatory & Financial Controls (Bahrain)
Role Objective
To strengthen the integrity of fintech operations by implementing robust risk management and compliance frameworks, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards while supporting innovation.
Key Performance Areas
Regulatory Compliance
- Monitor and ensure adherence to financial regulations and fintech compliance requirements.
- Interpret regulatory updates and integrate them into operational policies.
Risk Assessment
- Identify and evaluate operational, financial, and technological risks.
- Develop mitigation strategies to reduce exposure.
AML & Transaction Monitoring
- Oversee Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes and transaction monitoring systems.
- Investigate suspicious activities and escalate as required.
Audit & Reporting
- Conduct internal audits and prepare compliance reports.
- Maintain documentation for regulatory reviews and inspections.
Performance Metrics
- Compliance adherence rate
- Number of identified and resolved risk incidents
- Accuracy and timeliness of reporting
- Effectiveness of AML controls
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of AML/KYC frameworks and financial compliance standards.
- Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory information.
Experience Profile
- 5–8 years in compliance, risk management, or fintech regulatory roles.
- Experience with digital financial services or banking environments.
