Position Summary
A fast-scaling fintech environment in Riyadh is hiring a Fintech Python Developer to build intelligent financial platforms that support digital lending operations, customer onboarding, underwriting automation, repayment scheduling, collections workflows, and compliance-driven financial monitoring.
This role is ideal for developers who can combine strong backend engineering expertise with deep understanding of financial workflows. You will be responsible for transforming lending operations into seamless, automated, and highly secure digital processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Build secure APIs for KYC verification, onboarding, transaction monitoring, and partner banking integrations
- Create rules engines for eligibility checks, credit workflow support, and lending decision automation
- Design workflow systems for treasury operations, settlement processing, refund handling, and reconciliation management
- Integrate payment processors, identity verification providers, credit intelligence services, and banking APIs
- Support fraud monitoring platforms and suspicious transaction investigation workflows
- Improve system performance, observability, and reliability across lending and financial operations platforms
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on infrastructure automation, deployment pipelines, and platform scaling
- Build compliance reporting tools and executive operational visibility dashboards
- Participate in software architecture discussions and continuous platform optimization initiatives
- Maintain strong auditability and secure financial data management across all systems
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 4+ years of professional backend development experience with strong Python expertise
- Advanced knowledge of Django, FastAPI, Flask, Celery, and enterprise backend frameworks
- Strong understanding of APIs, workflow systems, and distributed service architecture
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, asynchronous processing, and cloud deployment environments
- Knowledge of secure application development and financial data protection standards
- Prior experience in fintech, digital lending, payment services, or banking operations is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving mindset
