Remote Fintech Product Manager – Digital Banking & Payments (Bahrain)
Position Overview
An experienced and strategically grounded Fintech Product Manager is sought to lead the design, development, and lifecycle management of next-generation digital banking and payment solutions serving the Bahrain financial ecosystem. This role is suited for a professional who can translate complex financial needs into elegant, scalable digital products that enhance user experience while maintaining regulatory precision.
Primary Responsibilities
- Define and execute product strategy across mobile banking platforms, payment gateways, and embedded finance solutions.
- Conduct deep market and competitor analysis within Bahrain and the wider GCC to identify emerging fintech opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, and compliance teams to deliver customer-centric financial products.
- Oversee product lifecycle from ideation through launch, iteration, and optimization.
- Integrate APIs for open banking ecosystems, enabling third-party financial service expansion.
- Monitor KPIs such as transaction success rate, user adoption, retention metrics, and revenue growth.
Required Competencies
- Strong understanding of digital banking architectures and payment processing systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing fintech operations in Bahrain.
- Ability to interpret financial data and transform insights into product enhancements.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
Candidate Profile
- 5–8 years of experience in fintech or digital product management.
- Proven track record of launching or scaling financial products.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
