Role Overview

This role is uniquely structured around managing and optimizing the entire payments value chain—from transaction initiation to final settlement. As a Payments Value Chain Manager, you will ensure that every stage of the financial transaction lifecycle operates efficiently, securely, and profitably within Qatar’s fintech ecosystem.

Value Chain Responsibilities

1. Transaction Initiation Layer

• Oversee customer-facing payment interfaces including mobile apps, merchant checkout systems, and APIs.
• Ensure seamless user experience and high transaction success rates.

2. Processing & Authorization Layer

• Manage payment routing, authorization protocols, and gateway integrations.
• Optimize transaction flows to minimize latency and failure rates.

3. Clearing & Settlement Layer

• Coordinate settlement processes between banks, payment processors, and partners.
• Ensure timely and accurate fund transfers.

4. Post-Transaction Analysis

• Analyze transaction data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities.
• Implement improvements to enhance performance and reduce costs.

Core Responsibilities

• Design strategies to optimize end-to-end payment workflows.
• Collaborate with technical teams to enhance system performance.
• Monitor KPIs such as transaction success rates, settlement times, and operational costs.

Required Expertise

• Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, transaction processing, and settlement mechanisms.
• Analytical mindset with focus on system optimization.
• Experience in fintech operations or payments strategy.

Experience Profile

• 6–10 years in payments, fintech operations, or financial systems.
