Job Description

A fintech platform supporting digital payment services is looking for a Fintech Operations Specialist to support day-to-day operational processes within its financial technology infrastructure.

This role focuses on ensuring smooth operation of payment processing systems, financial transaction monitoring, operational troubleshooting, and coordination between technical and financial teams.

The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining the reliability and efficiency of digital financial services while ensuring operational procedures align with fintech best practices.

Key Duties

Operational Oversight

• Monitor the performance of digital payment systems and financial transaction platforms.

• Ensure financial transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.

• Coordinate operational responses to system alerts or service disruptions.

Transaction Monitoring

• Review transaction activity for unusual patterns or operational anomalies.

• Support financial operations teams in identifying potential payment processing issues.

• Maintain accurate records of transaction monitoring activities.

Process Improvement

• Analyze operational workflows to identify opportunities for increased efficiency.

• Recommend improvements to fintech operational procedures and transaction handling processes.

• Collaborate with technical teams to optimize system performance.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare operational reports summarizing fintech system performance.

• Maintain documentation of operational procedures and transaction monitoring protocols.

• Provide insights that help leadership improve fintech service reliability.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Financial Technology, or Information Systems.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in financial operations, digital payments, fintech operations, or banking support roles.

Technical Skills

• Payment processing systems

• Financial transaction monitoring tools

• Operational data analysis

• Financial system reporting platforms

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with digital wallets and online payment gateways

• Experience supporting fintech platforms or banking infrastructure

• Understanding of financial operations workflows
