Operational Mandate (Process-Engineering Format)

The Director of Fintech Operations & Process Optimization will focus on re-engineering operational workflows, enhancing efficiency, and reducing systemic friction across fintech platforms.

This role is highly analytical and execution-driven, requiring expertise in process engineering, automation technologies, and operational risk management.

Core Functional Responsibilities

Operational Process Design & Optimization

• Analyze and redesign end-to-end fintech workflows, including payments processing, onboarding, and transaction management.

• Implement automation solutions to reduce manual intervention and increase operational efficiency.

Performance Management & Metrics

• Define KPIs for operational performance, including processing speed, error rates, and cost efficiency.

• Monitor and continuously improve operational performance through data-driven insights.

Technology Integration & Automation

• Deploy robotic process automation (RPA), AI-driven workflows, and intelligent systems to streamline operations.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate operational tools into fintech platforms.

Risk Management & Compliance Operations

• Ensure operational processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Identify and mitigate operational risks across financial systems.

Candidate Profile

• 10–14 years in fintech operations, banking operations, or process optimization.

• Strong expertise in process engineering, automation technologies, and operational analytics.

• Experience with large-scale fintech or banking systems preferred.

• Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
