Fintech Merchant Solutions Manager – Payments & Acquiring (United Arab Emirates)
Role Perspective
This role is structured around the full lifecycle of merchant engagement within digital payments ecosystems—from onboarding and activation to optimization and long-term retention. As a Merchant Solutions Manager, you will ensure that businesses adopting digital payment solutions achieve maximum value, efficiency, and growth.
Lifecycle Responsibilities
1. Merchant Acquisition & Onboarding
- Identify and onboard merchants across retail, e-commerce, and service sectors.
- Facilitate seamless integration of payment gateways, POS systems, and digital wallets.
- Ensure onboarding processes meet compliance and KYC requirements.
2. Activation & Enablement
- Support merchants in going live with payment solutions.
- Provide training on transaction management, reporting tools, and operational workflows.
- Ensure early-stage success by resolving technical or operational challenges.
3. Performance Optimization
- Analyze transaction data to identify opportunities for revenue growth and efficiency improvements.
- Recommend solutions such as alternative payment methods, cross-border capabilities, or analytics tools.
4. Retention & Expansion
- Build long-term relationships with merchants.
- Introduce additional fintech services such as lending, analytics, or subscription-based tools.
- Drive merchant satisfaction and retention.
Core Competencies
- Strong knowledge of payment acquiring, merchant services, and digital transaction ecosystems.
- Ability to manage both client relationships and operational processes.
- Analytical skills to interpret transaction data and recommend improvements.
Experience Profile
- 5–9 years in fintech, payments, or merchant services.
- Experience working with business clients or payment platforms.
