Fintech Internal Audit & Controls Manager – Digital Finance (Oman)

Role Objective

To ensure fintech operations are conducted within a framework of strong governance, internal controls, and risk management, maintaining trust and compliance within Oman’s digital financial ecosystem.

Core Areas of Responsibility

Internal Audit

• Plan and execute audits across fintech operations, systems, and processes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify improvement areas.

Control Framework Development

• Design and implement robust internal control systems for financial and operational processes.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Risk Identification & Mitigation

• Identify potential risks within fintech platforms and operations.
• Develop strategies to mitigate financial, operational, and technological risks.

Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare audit reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure transparency and accountability across financial processes.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of internal audit practices, risk management, and financial controls.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with fintech systems and digital financial operations.

Experience Profile

• 6–10 years in audit, compliance, or risk management roles.
• Experience within fintech or banking environments.

Performance Indicators
