Role Summary

A fintech platform focused on digital financial infrastructure is hiring a Fintech Integration Engineer responsible for designing and implementing integrations between fintech platforms, payment systems, and financial service providers.

This role focuses on developing and maintaining financial APIs, payment gateway integrations, and secure financial data exchange systems that enable digital finance services to operate seamlessly.

Main Responsibilities

Financial API Development

• Design and develop secure financial APIs that support digital payment services.

• Build integration frameworks enabling communication between fintech platforms and financial institutions.

• Ensure APIs support high-volume transaction processing with strong reliability.

Payment System Integration

• Integrate fintech platforms with payment gateways, digital wallets, and financial settlement systems.

• Support cross-border payment functionality through API-based connectivity.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot integration issues.

System Security & Data Protection

• Implement secure authentication mechanisms and encryption protocols for financial data exchange.

• Ensure compliance with fintech security and financial data protection standards.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to maintain system integrity.

Technical Documentation

• Produce technical documentation for API integration processes and fintech system architecture.

• Maintain records of system configurations and technical specifications.

• Support engineering teams with integration guidelines and best practices.

Qualifications

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Financial Technology.

Experience

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in software engineering, fintech integration, or backend development.

Technical Skills

• RESTful API development

• Payment gateway integration

• Cloud-based financial systems

• Programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js

• Database management and data exchange protocols

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of open banking frameworks

• Experience with financial messaging systems

• Familiarity with digital wallet infrastructure
