Fintech Infrastructure Reliability & Scalability Engineer – High-Volume Transaction Platforms (Qatar)
Resilience Engineering Philosophy
This role is built on the principle that fintech systems must be fault-tolerant, highly available, and continuously scalable. The engineer is responsible for ensuring that infrastructure remains robust under increasing demand and unexpected disruptions.
Engineering Focus Areas
Area 1: System Reliability Assurance
- Maintain high uptime across fintech platforms.
- Identify and eliminate single points of failure.
Area 2: Scalability Architecture
- Design systems capable of handling exponential transaction growth.
- Optimize infrastructure for peak performance conditions.
Area 3: Incident Management & Recovery
- Develop rapid response protocols for system failures.
- Ensure minimal downtime and fast recovery times.
Area 4: Performance Optimization
- Analyze system performance and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Improve throughput and reduce latency across services.
Core Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain fintech infrastructure performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance system resilience.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems.
- Optimize infrastructure for scalability and efficiency.
Required Competencies
- Strong expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and fintech platforms.
- Problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
- Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning.
Experience Profile
- 5–10 years in software engineering, infrastructure, or fintech systems roles.

- System uptime percentage
- Incident response and recovery time
