Role Journey Overview
This role is defined not just by responsibilities, but by the full lifecycle ownership of a digital wallet product—from ideation to market maturity. You will oversee how users store, transfer, and interact with money in a fully digital environment.
Product Ideation & Market Mapping
- Conduct deep analysis of digital wallet trends across regional and global markets
- Identify user pain points in payments, transfers, and wallet usability
- Define product vision, including unique features such as multi-currency wallets, peer-to-peer transfers, and merchant integrations
Product Architecture & Development
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable wallet infrastructure
- Define product requirements including transaction flows, authentication, and security layers
- Ensure integration with payment gateways, banking APIs, and fintech ecosystems
Launch Strategy & Market Entry
- Develop go-to-market strategies tailored to digital payment adoption trends
- Coordinate product launch timelines and feature rollouts
- Monitor initial user feedback and adoption metrics
Growth & Optimization
- Analyze user behavior and transaction patterns
- Optimize wallet features for engagement, retention, and usability
- Introduce new capabilities such as bill payments, savings tools, and financial insights
Product Evolution
- Continuously innovate based on emerging fintech trends
- Integrate advanced technologies such as AI-driven financial insights
- Expand wallet capabilities into broader financial ecosystems
Core Competencies
- Strong understanding of digital wallets, payment systems, and fintech product development
- Experience in product lifecycle management and agile methodologies
- Knowledge of user experience design and financial system integration
Professional Profile
- 6–10 years in fintech product management or digital payments
- Proven experience managing end-to-end financial products
- Strong strategic thinking and execution capability
