This role focuses on building onboarding journeys that are secure, efficient, and user-friendly, ensuring customers can access financial services quickly while maintaining strict compliance standards.
As the Customer Onboarding & KYC Operations Lead, you will oversee the systems and processes that verify identities, prevent fraud, and create seamless entry points into digital financial ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding Experience Design
- Develop and optimize digital onboarding journeys for individuals and businesses.
- Ensure a balance between user experience and regulatory compliance.
KYC & Verification Processes
- Implement and manage Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
- Integrate identity verification tools and document validation systems.
Operational Management
- Oversee onboarding operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Train and manage teams responsible for customer verification processes.
Fraud Prevention
- Detect and prevent fraudulent onboarding attempts using data-driven techniques.
- Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to strengthen controls.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of KYC, AML, and onboarding processes in fintech.
- Experience with digital identity verification tools.
- Operational management and process optimization skills.
Experience Profile
- 5–9 years in fintech operations, compliance, or onboarding roles.
- Experience managing digital customer onboarding systems.
