Position: Fintech Cross-Border Payments Specialist (Remote)

Location: Remote (Bahrain Market Focus)

Function: International Payments & Financial Operations


Role Objective

To ensure efficient, secure, and compliant execution of cross-border financial transactions while optimizing cost, speed, and reliability of international payment flows.

1. Transaction Efficiency

  • Achieve high success rates in cross-border payments
  • Minimize delays and transaction failures
  • Optimize routing across international payment networks

2. Cost Optimization

  • Reduce transaction costs through efficient routing strategies
  • Analyze fee structures and recommend improvements
  • Monitor foreign exchange impacts on transactions

3. Compliance & Risk Control

  • Ensure adherence to international payment regulations
  • Monitor transactions for AML and fraud risks
  • Maintain accurate records for regulatory reporting

4. Operational Excellence

  • Streamline payment workflows and processes
  • Improve turnaround times for international transfers
  • Enhance system performance and reliability

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end cross-border payment processes
  • Coordinate with financial institutions and payment partners
  • Analyze transaction data and performance metrics
  • Resolve issues related to international transfers
  • Support implementation of new payment solutions

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in international payments or fintech operations
  • Strong understanding of cross-border payment systems
  • Knowledge of foreign exchange and transaction processing

Technical Skills

  • Payment processing systems and transaction monitoring
  • Data analysis and reporting tools
  • Understanding of financial messaging systems
