Role Definition
This role treats risk as an engineering discipline, not a compliance function. The Principal is responsible for designing and embedding intelligence-driven control systems into fintech platforms so that resilience, stability, and predictability are built into their operational DNA. The position is fully remote, aligned with Kuwait’s fintech ecosystem, and focused on anticipatory risk design rather than reactive oversight.
Core Mission

Architect risk-aware fintech platforms where controls operate continuously and autonomously

Design control systems that scale with transaction growth and platform complexity

Translate abstract risk concepts into executable system logic

Ensure fintech platforms can absorb shocks, failures, and anomalous behavior
Key Responsibilities

Design operational and technological risk models for digital finance platforms

Define embedded controls across transaction processing, data flows, and system access

Establish early-warning indicators and escalation logic

Conduct stress-scenario modelling and platform failure simulations

Create detailed control documentation aligned with platform behavior

Advise on resilience-driven platform design choices

Professional Background
