Position:Remote Financial Technology Integration Specialist

Role Brief
A growing digital financial infrastructure environment in Kuwait is seeking a Financial Technology Integration Specialist to manage and optimize integrations between core banking systems, third-party fintech APIs, and digital payment platforms. This role is highly execution-focused, requiring both technical fluency and operational awareness.
You will act as a bridge between engineering teams and financial operations, ensuring seamless connectivity, reliability, and scalability of fintech services.
Functional Responsibilities
1. System Integration & API Management
- Design, test, and deploy integrations between fintech platforms and external service providers
- Monitor API performance, latency, and uptime across payment and financial services
- Troubleshoot integration failures and ensure rapid resolution
2. Payment Infrastructure Support
- Maintain connectivity with payment gateways, mobile wallets, and banking rails
- Support real-time transaction processing and reconciliation systems
- Ensure data consistency across interconnected systems
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with developers, product managers, and compliance teams
- Translate business requirements into technical integration workflows
- Participate in sprint planning and system enhancement discussions
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain technical documentation for all integrations
- Generate reports on system performance, uptime, and error rates
- Provide insights for continuous improvement
Candidate Profile
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Finance
- 3–6 years of experience in fintech integrations or banking technology
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON/XML data formats
- Familiarity with payment ecosystems and financial messaging systems
Preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
