Role Overview
This role is intended for a senior fintech technologist whose expertise lies in financial data architecture, analytics platforms, and automated risk systems. The position focuses on system design, architectural coherence, and long-term scalability, operating above routine engineering execution.
The role is remote and aligned with Oman’s growing digital finance and financial infrastructure modernisation.
Architectural Responsibilities

Design enterprise-grade financial data architectures supporting transaction processing and analytics.

Define canonical data models for reporting, monitoring, and regulatory oversight.

Establish integration patterns for APIs, data pipelines, and external financial systems.

Ensure architectures are scalable, secure, and audit-ready by design.
Risk & Automation Frameworks

Architect analytics systems for real-time and batch risk monitoring.

Design automation logic for exception handling and anomaly detection.
-
Embed governance, data lineage, and quality controls into platforms.

Ensure explainability and transparency of analytics outputs.
Design Authority Duties
-
Act as final authority on architectural decisions.

Produce detailed system blueprints and technical rationales.

Review implementation approaches for alignment with target state.

Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Professional Requirements

12–18+ years in fintech systems, data architecture, or risk technology.

Strong understanding of financial transaction behaviour.

Experience designing distributed, cloud-native platforms.

Ability to operate autonomously at senior design level.
