Role Description:
A purpose-driven fintech product centered on Sharia-compliant banking and savings solutions is looking for a Remote Product Designer with deep sensitivity to Islamic finance principles, user empathy, and mobile-first design systems. This role is ideal for a designer who can bridge faith-aligned finance with modern UX expectations in the Saudi Arabian market.
You will craft intuitive and accessible designs for a growing suite of neobank features including halal savings goals, profit-sharing accounts, zakat automation, and ethical investments.
Core Duties:

Lead end-to-end UX and UI design for Islamic fintech mobile applications.

Conduct user research, persona development, and behavioral mapping for Saudi customers.

Create wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and UI kits aligned with Sharia finance concepts.

Collaborate with Sharia advisors, product managers, and frontend engineers to validate design assumptions.

Design inclusive Arabic/English interfaces with RTL responsiveness and accessibility standards.

Balance aesthetics, functionality, and theological clarity in financial interfaces.

Contribute to brand guidelines that reflect Islamic values while embracing modern digital minimalism.
Required Experience:

4+ years of experience in product design, UI/UX, or service design.

Strong portfolio demonstrating mobile app designs—preferably in fintech or lifestyle platforms.

Familiarity with Islamic finance principles such as riba-free accounts, waqf models, and profit-sharing (Mudarabah).

Proficient in Figma, Adobe XD, Zeplin, or similar tools.

Knowledge of Saudi fintech user behavior, mobile banking trends, and trust signals.
Desirable Qualifications:

Experience working in neobank or Islamic banking environments.

Arabic language fluency and experience with bi-directional interface layout.

Comfort collaborating with theological and compliance teams during design sprints.

Weekly team critiques and monthly customer testing labs.
