This executive role seeks an experienced strategist to shape and implement cutting-edge payment solutions, including real-time payments, tokenized transactions, and cross-border digital commerce. The position requires mastery of payments infrastructure, regulatory alignment, and ecosystem partnerships across financial institutions and global networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Define long-term payment innovation strategy for the UAE’s fintech sector.

• Oversee initiatives in CBDC experimentation, blockchain-enabled settlement, and ISO 20022 adoption.

• Strengthen cybersecurity, digital identity, and fraud prevention systems across payment channels.

• Build scalable partnerships with banks, regulators, and fintech innovators.

• Position UAE payment standards on the global stage through thought leadership and advocacy.

• Support financial inclusion initiatives through mobile-first and cloud-based payment solutions.

Qualifications

• MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Strategy, or Technology.

• 15+ years of senior experience in payments, clearing systems, or global fintech strategy.

• Strong track record in developing scalable cross-border payment infrastructures.

• Expertise in real-time payments, tokenization, and settlement platforms.

• Knowledge of UAE Central Bank and DIFC regulations.
