Position Overview
The Executive Vice President will architect and govern enterprise-level fintech infrastructures that align with Bahrain’s ambition to serve as a regional and international fintech hub. This role requires mastery of blockchain ecosystems, payments innovation, and global regulatory interoperability while fostering Bahrain’s strategic integration into cross-border financial corridors.
Core Responsibilities

Lead the strategic design of digital asset infrastructures enabling tokenization, smart contract deployment, and blockchain-powered payment settlements.

Oversee regulatory alignment with Bahrain Central Bank directives while ensuring compliance with global frameworks (FATF, BIS, IOSCO).

Establish enterprise resilience protocols for digital asset custody, cybersecurity, and systemic risk mitigation.

Direct international partnerships across fintech ecosystems, digital exchanges, and institutional investors.

Drive financial inclusion initiatives by embedding fintech solutions into underbanked segments, leveraging mobile-first frameworks.

Provide board-level advisory on emerging fintech megatrends including CBDCs, DeFi scalability, and tokenized securities markets.
Candidate Profile

15+ years in fintech infrastructure, blockchain systems, or financial market architecture.

Advanced qualifications in Finance, Engineering, or Computational Economics.

Extensive exposure to GCC and international regulatory ecosystems.

Demonstrated success in scaling global fintech frameworks and digital asset networks.
