Overview
The Executive Vice President – Digital Banking Architecture & Open Finance Strategy will lead Kuwait’s fintech modernization journey through a unified architecture of API-driven banking, cloud-native platforms, and data-centric finance. This pivotal leadership position requires a strategist capable of engineering the backbone of open finance ecosystems while aligning cutting-edge innovation with Kuwait’s evolving digital regulatory landscape.
Strategic Responsibilities

Architectural Leadership: Define a multi-tier digital banking architecture integrating API gateways, microservices, and secure data interoperability layers.

Open Finance Enablement: Build open banking ecosystems and consent-driven data exchange frameworks compliant with international standards (PSD2, ISO 20022, and FAPI).

Infrastructure Modernization: Lead the migration of legacy systems to hybrid cloud environments, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational resilience.

Data Intelligence: Deploy advanced analytics, AI-driven personalization, and predictive customer modeling to enhance digital engagement and retention.

Regulatory Collaboration: Partner with local and regional regulators to align fintech innovation with Kuwait Central Bank directives and emerging open finance policies.

Innovation Governance: Oversee fintech sandbox participation, digital risk governance, and ethical AI adoption across consumer and corporate finance verticals.

Qualifications
