Strategic Mandate
The Institutional Digital Banking Transformation Architect is responsible for re-engineering large-scale banking and fintech operating models for digitally native execution. This role focuses on architectural transformation, platform modernisation logic, and governance frameworks, rather than operational management or system delivery.
The mandate addresses how traditional banking capabilities—payments, deposits, lending, treasury, and risk—are recomposed into modular, API-driven, intelligence-ready digital platforms capable of supporting future financial innovation without structural fragility.
Primary Responsibilities

Architect target-state digital banking platform models and transition frameworks

Define modularisation strategies for core banking, payments, and financial services layers

Evaluate cloud-native, composable banking, and platform orchestration technologies

Design governance principles for scalability, resilience, and ecosystem extensibility

Produce executive-grade transformation blueprints, architectural narratives, and strategic roadmaps

Advise international stakeholders on institutional-scale digital banking modernisation

Guide long-term evolution of resilient, future-proof financial platforms
Required Expertise

Deep experience in digital banking architecture, financial platform transformation, or fintech infrastructure

Strong understanding of legacy-to-digital migration and modular system design

Proven independence in senior advisory or principal roles
