State of Qatar (Doha-based with regional and global fintech interface governance)
Strategic Mandate
This role governs how fintech systems speak to one another. The Executive Principal of Fintech API Economies, Platform Interfaces & Financial Connectivity is responsible for designing the interface layer through which financial value, intelligence, and control signals move across platforms, ecosystems, and jurisdictions.
The mandate is not integration delivery. It is interface sovereignty, protocol governance, and long-term control of financial connectivity at scale.
Core Responsibilities

Architect API and interface frameworks enabling secure, scalable fintech interoperability.

Define standards for financial data exchange, transaction invocation, and cross-platform coordination.

Establish governance for versioning, backward compatibility, and interface lifecycle control.

Oversee integration of interface layers with payments, ledgers, risk systems, and intelligence platforms.

Design monitoring intelligence for interface performance, dependency risk, and systemic exposure.

Lead strategy for API-driven fintech ecosystems and programmable financial platforms.

Direct senior teams across fintech architecture, platform engineering, and systems governance.
Required Executive Profile

16+ years in fintech platform architecture, API systems, or large-scale digital ecosystems.

Deep expertise in interface design, protocol governance, and distributed systems communication.

Proven leadership maintaining platform control amid extensive external connectivity.

Strong strategic vision combined with deep technical fluency.

International fintech platform experience mandatory.
Compensation & Executive Salary Structure (Qatar)

Base Salary: QAR 82,000 – 110,000 per month

Annual Performance Bonus: 35% – 55% of base (linked to platform adoption, interface stability, and ecosystem growth)
