Strategic Role Mandate
This role exists to architect the next generation of programmable money systems, where financial logic is embedded directly into transaction flows, settlement conditions, and capital controls. The mandate focuses on protocol-level financial design, not product delivery, positioning the role at the foundation of future digital finance infrastructure.
The successful candidate will operate as a systems thinker and financial protocol authority, defining how programmable rules govern liquidity movement, conditional payments, automated settlements, and institutional-grade financial logic.
Core Strategic Responsibilities

Architect programmable money frameworks enabling conditional execution, automated settlement, and embedded financial logic.

Design protocol-level standards for transaction programmability across payments, treasury, and digital asset systems.

Establish governance models for protocol upgrades, rule versioning, and systemic risk containment.

Define interoperability frameworks between programmable finance layers and traditional financial infrastructure.

Lead the creation of technical whitepapers, protocol specifications, and system governance documentation.

Anticipate future regulatory and market evolution and design adaptable protocol architectures.

Advise on scalability, latency, and systemic resilience under high-volume transactional conditions.
Technical & Domain Expertise

Deep experience in financial protocol design and programmable transaction systems.

Strong understanding of distributed systems, smart transaction logic, and settlement mechanics.

Expertise in secure system architecture and transaction integrity models.

Familiarity with cross-border financial infrastructure and institutional treasury operations.

Proven capability to translate abstract financial logic into executable system design.
Ideal Candidate Profile

14+ years in financial infrastructure, protocol architecture, or advanced fintech systems.

Demonstrated experience designing foundational financial systems or standards.

Ability to operate autonomously in a high-responsibility remote environment.
Compensation Structure (Kuwait-Benchmarked)

Base Annual Compensation: USD 165,000 – 215,000

Annual Protocol Performance Bonus: 20% – 30%
