Role Mandate & Strategic Orientation
This role is intended for a senior fintech executive who operates at the core infrastructure layer of digital financial systems. The Executive Lead will be responsible for re-architecting and modernising core banking and digital finance platforms, transforming legacy constructs into cloud-native, API-driven, highly resilient financial engines.
The position carries responsibility not only for technical execution, but also for long-term architectural coherence, system governance, and operational durability, ensuring that digital finance platforms remain scalable, regulator-ready, and strategically extensible over multi-year horizons.
Strategic Responsibilities

Design and govern next-generation core banking and digital finance architectures, supporting deposits, payments, account servicing, and financial data orchestration.

Lead core system modernisation initiatives, including modular decomposition, service orchestration, and real-time processing enablement.

Establish platform resilience frameworks, embedding redundancy, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery into system design.

Define API strategies and integration layers enabling seamless interoperability with external financial ecosystems.

Implement operational governance models ensuring transparency, audit readiness, and lifecycle control across all core platforms.

Advise on multi-year technology roadmaps, investment prioritisation, and architectural risk management.
Executive Capability Profile

Extensive experience in core banking platforms, large-scale financial systems, and digital finance architecture.

Strong expertise in cloud-native design, microservices orchestration, and high-availability systems.

Demonstrated leadership across remote, multi-disciplinary fintech engineering and architecture teams.

Ability to translate business, regulatory, and operational constraints into robust system design.
Compensation Structure – Bahrain (Indicative)

Base Monthly Compensation: BHD 11,000 – BHD 15,000

Annual Strategic Performance Bonus: BHD 45,000 – BHD 80,000
