Role Overview
Bahrain’s leadership in digital financial regulation positions it at the frontier of tokenized capital market evolution. The Remote Executive Head of Tokenized Capital Markets & Digital Asset Infrastructure Strategy will design and direct the strategic development of a global digital asset ecosystem — one capable of integrating blockchain-based securities, AI liquidity intelligence, and cross-chain settlement frameworks.
This position merges financial innovation with architectural governance, building the technological and policy blueprint for the next era of decentralized capital mobility. The candidate will define standards for token issuance, programmable asset compliance, and cross-market interoperability aligned with Bahrain’s vision for a data-driven digital economy.
Key Responsibilities

Design tokenized market architectures integrating securities, commodities, and synthetic financial instruments.

Build AI-augmented liquidity intelligence models predicting capital flow dynamics and market sentiment across digital asset ecosystems.

Develop smart-contract governance protocols for compliant issuance, trading, and post-trade reconciliation.

Lead the establishment of multi-chain interoperability frameworks aligning with ISO 20022 and BIS standards.

Collaborate with digital regulators to shape frameworks for asset tokenization, data governance, and investor protection.

Oversee the technical implementation of cross-border settlement intelligence and programmable financial trust layers.
Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in Blockchain Systems, Quantitative Finance, or Financial Technology Management.

10+ years of leadership experience in fintech architecture, capital markets, or blockchain product development.

Deep understanding of tokenization standards (ERC, ISO, etc.) and digital asset custody infrastructure.

Strong awareness of Bahrain’s fintech innovation frameworks and regulatory ecosystem.
