Executive Head of Fintech Strategy (Digital Market Design & Financial Innovation Governance).
Location: Kingdom of Bahrain (Manama | International Fintech Hub Scope)
Role Mandate
This executive role is designed for a senior fintech strategist responsible for shaping digital financial market structures, innovation governance frameworks, and long-term fintech ecosystem evolution. The position operates at the highest strategic level, influencing how fintech products, platforms, and markets are conceived, governed, and scaled.
The role is neither operational nor purely advisory—it is architectural, directional, and ecosystem-defining.
Strategic Responsibilities

Define national- and regional-level fintech market design principles.

Develop governance models for innovation-driven financial platforms.

Lead strategic planning for payments, digital banking, fintech platforms, and emerging financial technologies.

Evaluate systemic risks and resilience frameworks in rapidly evolving fintech markets.

Establish long-term roadmaps for fintech capability development and market maturity.

Engage with regulators, technologists, and financial leaders to align innovation with stability.

Oversee policy-aligned experimentation frameworks for new fintech models.

Represent fintech strategy initiatives at international forums and policy dialogues.
Required Profile

16–22 years in fintech strategy, financial systems, or digital market design.

Strong background in financial regulation, market structure, and innovation governance.

Ability to operate at executive, policy, and technical interface levels.

Proven experience shaping fintech ecosystems rather than single products.

Exceptional analytical, strategic, and leadership capabilities.
Compensation Structure (Annual)

Base Salary: BHD 120,000 – 150,000

Strategic Leadership Bonus: BHD 35,000 – 55,000

Long-Term Ecosystem Impact Award: BHD 40,000 – 65,000

Total Annual Package: BHD 195,000 – 270,000
