Overview
The Executive Head of Digital Risk Intelligence & Financial Cybersecurity Innovation will oversee the design and orchestration of Qatar’s next-generation fintech cybersecurity and risk governance architecture. The role integrates AI-driven intelligence, real-time threat analytics, and global compliance alignment to safeguard fintech ecosystems from emerging systemic, operational, and digital risks.
Key Responsibilities

Architect integrated digital risk governance systems that leverage AI-based predictive modeling and continuous control validation.

Lead the creation of real-time cybersecurity command centers for fintech infrastructures and open banking networks.

Develop cloud-native resilience frameworks for transaction monitoring, identity security, and API gateway protection.

Oversee RegTech-driven compliance automation using AI pattern recognition and anomaly detection algorithms.

Collaborate with regional and global regulators to align risk intelligence operations with ISO, NIST, and FATF cybersecurity standards.

Establish digital resilience maturity benchmarks across fintech firms and financial institutions.
Required Expertise

15+ years in cybersecurity, digital risk management, or financial intelligence systems.

Mastery of threat intelligence, digital forensics, and AI-based security analytics in financial environments.

Proven leadership in developing large-scale cyber-resilience infrastructures across fintech ecosystems.

Comprehensive understanding of GCC regulatory frameworks, ISO 27001 standards, and real-time supervisory technologies.

Strong ability to design risk ecosystems balancing innovation with operational resilience.
Preferred Qualifications

Advanced academic background in Cybersecurity, Financial Technology Risk, or AI Systems Engineering.

Global certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
