This role is designed for a systems thinker capable of re-engineering how money flows across domestic and international networks.

The objective is not incremental improvement—it is complete payment ecosystem recalibration, where latency is minimized, costs are optimized, and interoperability becomes frictionless across financial institutions, fintech platforms, and emerging digital channels.

Mandate Architecture

You will command the orchestration layer that governs how transactions are routed, authenticated, settled, and reconciled across multiple payment rails—ranging from card networks and instant payment systems to alternative digital payment infrastructures.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-rail payment orchestration platforms, enabling intelligent routing between domestic and international payment networks.
• Optimize transaction lifecycle management, including authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Lead the integration of real-time payment infrastructures, ensuring ultra-low latency and high transaction success rates.
• Develop advanced payment routing algorithms based on cost efficiency, speed, and reliability metrics.
• Oversee fraud detection frameworks, leveraging AI-driven anomaly detection and behavioral analytics.
• Architect resilient, fault-tolerant systems capable of handling high transaction volumes with near-zero downtime.
• Establish partnerships with financial institutions and payment networks to expand ecosystem interoperability.

Technical & Strategic Requirements

• Deep expertise in payment systems architecture, transaction processing, and financial messaging protocols.
• Proficiency in ISO 8583, ISO 20022, and modern payment gateway frameworks.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of risk management, fraud prevention, and payment security standards.
• Proven leadership in building and scaling high-performance fintech infrastructures.
