Position Summary
This role targets a leader who will design and operationalize Oman’s next-generation digital identity frameworks across banking, payments, digital onboarding, and financial ecosystem access.
The executive will build intelligent trust networks combining biometric identity, risk-adaptive authentication, predictive fraud analytics, federated identity exchange, and secure credentialing systems.
The focus is on delivering an internationally benchmarked trust architecture that strengthens secure access, compliance automation, user verification, and cross-platform identity interoperability.
Key Responsibilities
1. National-Scale Digital Identity Architecture

Engineer multi-layer identity infrastructures integrating biometrics, device intelligence, behavioral authentication, and cryptographic identity credentials.

Lead development of identity orchestration engines supporting cross-bank login, remote onboarding, digital signatures, and transaction verification.

Establish federated identity exchange frameworks connecting financial institutions, fintechs, government identity sources, and supervisory bodies.
2. Fraud, Risk Intelligence & Access Security

Build AI-driven risk engines using anomaly detection, neural scoring models, behavioral analytics, and threat-adaptive controls.

Implement high-assurance identity verification workflows aligned with AML/KYC requirements and supervisory governance.
3. Data Privacy, Compliance & Operational Governance

Integrate policy-aligned data residency standards, cryptographic protections, consent tracking, and operational resilience requirements.

Architect audit-ready identity governance, real-time access telemetry, and automated compliance monitoring.
Required Expertise

10–18+ years in digital identity engineering, cybersecurity architecture, financial authentication systems, or advanced risk intelligence.

Expertise in biometric technologies, PKI, identity federation, zero-trust security, digital onboarding, and behavioral authentication.

Deep understanding of Oman’s financial regulatory landscape and digital transformation frameworks.

Proven ability to build trust ecosystems at institutional or national scale.
