Role Overview

The Executive Director of Strategic Financial Infrastructure is a high-level, fully remote leadership role responsible for designing, governing, and evolving digital financial ecosystems at scale. This position operates above operational delivery, focusing instead on long-term architecture, governance models, and cross-border interoperability.

This role exists to define how national and regional payment systems should evolve, ensuring resilience, efficiency, and alignment with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic design of domestic and cross-border payment systems

• Establish governance frameworks, interoperability standards, and risk mitigation models

• Produce whitepapers, executive frameworks, and system charters for multi-jurisdictional adoption

• Monitor emerging technologies and market trends, integrating them into strategic planning

• Advise policymakers and financial authorities on ecosystem-level infrastructure decisions

• Ensure the system supports long-term financial inclusion, scalability, and sustainability

Candidate Profile

• Deep understanding of platform economics, compliance landscapes, and regional financial strategy
