Overview
The Executive Director of RegTech Systems Architecture & Compliance Automation will design Kuwait’s regulatory technology blueprint to digitize compliance processes, enhance transparency, and build automated supervisory ecosystems across financial institutions and fintech service providers.
This role combines RegTech innovation, policy automation, and data governance engineering to establish a unified compliance infrastructure consistent with GCC and international standards. The position is key to transforming Kuwait’s financial compliance landscape into a data-centric, intelligent supervision environment capable of real-time regulatory responsiveness and cross-border oversight.
Key Responsibilities

Architect AI-driven RegTech ecosystems integrating compliance automation, AML analytics, and policy digitization.

Build supervisory data pipelines enabling real-time auditability and regulatory intelligence for financial institutions.

Oversee the integration of Regulatory-as-Code frameworks transforming compliance policies into executable digital logic.

Define data exchange standards aligned with FATF, IOSCO, and GCC cross-border regulatory initiatives.

Collaborate with financial authorities and innovation hubs to enhance policy interoperability through standardized APIs.

Lead implementation of regulatory data ontologies supporting transparency, risk modeling, and compliance analytics.
Qualifications

12–18 years of experience in RegTech, compliance architecture, or financial data governance.

Advanced degree (Master’s/Ph.D.) in Financial Law, Computational Regulation, or Data Systems Engineering.

Deep expertise in policy automation, supervisory technology, and digital governance systems.

Proven leadership in fintech regulation, cross-border compliance intelligence, and AI for regulatory analytics.
