Role Overview
This executive role is designed for a fintech leader at the forefront of high-velocity payments, cross-border transaction orchestration, and real-time settlement intelligence. The mandate extends beyond conventional payments, focusing on strategic digital payments architecture, dynamic liquidity routing, AI-driven transaction optimization, and multi-rail interoperability.
The Executive Director will remotely lead cross-functional teams, define strategic roadmaps, and ensure payments systems are resilient, compliant, and globally interoperable, capable of supporting millions of transactions per day with near-zero latency.
Strategic Responsibilities

Architect end-to-end payments ecosystems, including domestic clearing, cross-border settlement, instant payments, and merchant integration.

Lead the design of AI-driven transaction optimization engines for routing efficiency, cost reduction, and predictive settlement analytics.

Oversee platform resilience, latency monitoring, system observability, and real-time reconciliation.

Define governance frameworks that ensure auditability, regulatory compliance, and operational transparency.

Partner with financial institutions, central banks, and fintech innovators to establish strategic interoperability across payment rails.

Drive long-term innovation in blockchain integration, programmable payments, and next-generation settlement protocols.
Technical & Leadership Expertise

Deep experience in high-throughput payments, real-time gross settlement systems, ISO 20022 messaging, and clearing architectures.

Expertise in AI-driven transaction analytics, predictive modeling, and distributed ledger integrations.

Proven record of strategic delivery in multi-geography, cross-functional fintech projects.

Ability to translate complex regulatory frameworks into system-enforced operational controls.
Compensation Structure (Indicative – Saudi Arabia)

Base Monthly Salary: SAR 50,000 – SAR 70,000

Annual Performance Bonus: SAR 250,000 – SAR 450,000
