Job Overview
Executive Director of Fintech Settlement Architecture & Capital Finality Systems
Jurisdiction: Muscat, Sultanate of Oman
Engagement Model: Full-Time | Executive Fintech Systems Mandate
Functional Domain: Pure Fintech | Settlement Architecture | Capital Finality
Institutional Mandate
This role is instituted to design, govern, and preserve the mechanisms through which financial obligations become irrevocably settled within advanced fintech ecosystems. The Executive Director holds supreme authority over settlement logic, capital finality doctrines, clearing thresholds, and post-transaction state convergence, ensuring that financial value reaches indisputable completion across all system layers.
This mandate does not concern treasury operations or accounting administration. It exists at the deep architectural layer of fintech systems, where settlement becomes legally final, computationally absolute, and institutionally defensible.
Strategic Scope of Authority
-
Architect and govern multi-layer settlement frameworks across instant, deferred, and conditional financial environments.
-
Define executive doctrines for finality thresholds, rollback constraints, and settlement irreversibility.
-
Establish system-wide standards for capital convergence following transaction execution.
-
Oversee interaction between transaction engines, liquidity buffers, and settlement confirmation layers.
-
Lead long-term evolution of settlement architecture under increasing transaction velocity and complexity.
-
Act as final institutional authority on settlement disputes, delayed finality, and capital ambiguity.
Executive Profile
-
18–27+ years in fintech infrastructure, settlement systems, or financial market architecture.
-
Exceptional mastery of clearing models, settlement cycles, and capital finality mechanics.
-
Proven leadership in environments where settlement failure constitutes systemic risk.
-
Ability to integrate legal, technical, and financial dimensions into a unified system doctrine.
-
Executive gravitas suitable for high-consequence financial decision-making.
Compensation Structure (Oman)
-
Base Salary: OMR 7,800 – 11,600 per month
-
Annual Executive Incentive: 40% – 55% of base salary
-
Long-Term Incentive: Multi-year settlement-stability and capital-finality awards
-
Executive Benefits: Senior housing allowance, premium healthcare, family education support, annual international mobility allowance
