Overview
Qatar’s national fintech vision emphasizes resilience, sovereign data control, and institutional innovation. This role calls for a senior-level strategist to orchestrate digital wealth ecosystems, define next-generation regulatory architectures, and champion open finance collaboration across the Qatari and regional markets.
Core Responsibilities

Digital Wealth Strategy Leadership: Design institutional frameworks that integrate digital asset portfolios, tokenized investment platforms, and automated asset management systems.

Regulatory Framework Development: Partner with QCB and QFCA innovation teams to shape adaptive governance models for digital assets, DeFi, and cross-border liquidity systems.

Sustainable Digital Finance: Introduce ESG-linked fintech models that align with Qatar’s Vision 2030 and sustainable economic diversification objectives.

Fintech Ecosystem Integration: Build a cohesive network between startups, regulators, and capital institutions to enhance regional fintech resilience.

Advanced Data & AI Governance: Establish policy foundations for ethical AI in wealth management, privacy-preserving analytics, and federated financial intelligence.
Qualifications

Advanced degree in Financial Economics, Policy Design, or Systems Engineering.

Minimum of 12 years in digital financial policy, wealth management architecture, or fintech ecosystem development.

Expertise in tokenized asset frameworks, multi-jurisdictional compliance, and open API governance.

Demonstrated experience with macro-prudential digital finance strategy and institutional collaboration.
Preferred Competencies

Exceptional command of global fintech regulatory standards (FATF, BIS, IOSCO, IMF guidelines).

Deep policy literacy across digital currencies, automated portfolio systems, and data ethics.

Strategic foresight in developing sustainable financial frameworks using AI and quantum-ready cryptography.
Location
Fully remote within GCC, with potential quarterly travel to Doha for stakeholder summits and regulatory roundtables.
