Strategic Overview
This executive-level role addresses one of the most critical dimensions of modern fintech: platform governance, systemic risk, and operational resilience. Fully remote, the role is aligned with Qatar’s focus on institutional-grade financial infrastructure, long-term capital stewardship, and operational excellence.
The mandate is not compliance in isolation, but the integration of governance, risk, and resilience directly into fintech system architecture and operating models.
Key Responsibilities

Define and implement enterprise-wide fintech governance frameworks spanning technology, operations, and platform design.

Architect operational resilience models ensuring continuity under extreme scenarios, system stress, and external shocks.

Establish risk frameworks covering technology risk, transaction risk, and third-party dependencies.

Embed governance controls directly into platform architecture and system workflows.

Lead cross-functional alignment between technology, risk, and executive stakeholders.

Oversee platform auditability, control transparency, and long-term sustainability.

Act as an executive advisor on systemic fintech risk and infrastructure longevity.
Executive Profile

18+ years of experience across fintech governance, operational risk, technology leadership, or financial infrastructure oversight.

Demonstrated executive accountability for large-scale platforms and complex operating environments.

Strong understanding of financial systems, transaction integrity, and technology risk domains.

Ability to translate abstract risk concepts into concrete architectural and operational controls.

Comfortable operating at board-advisory level in a fully remote capacity.
Salary & Compensation Structure (Qatar Benchmark – Remote)

Base Annual Salary: QAR 920,000 – QAR 1,200,000
