Position Overview
The Executive Director of Fintech Data Intelligence & AI Innovation will spearhead Oman’s transition toward AI-empowered financial intelligence ecosystems, leveraging predictive analytics, machine learning, and data engineering to drive smarter, faster, and more resilient financial decision-making.
This position demands a visionary leader who can combine financial acumen with deep AI expertise, creating robust systems that unify analytics, compliance, and customer intelligence across digital finance channels.
Core Responsibilities

Lead strategic initiatives to embed AI-driven analytics across fintech operations, payments, and regulatory systems.

Oversee development of data intelligence platforms integrating behavioral, transactional, and risk data at scale.

Design predictive modeling frameworks to enhance credit risk evaluation, portfolio performance, and customer segmentation.

Implement cloud-native data ecosystems with built-in privacy, resilience, and real-time streaming capabilities.

Candidate Profile

Ph.D. or Master’s in Data Science, AI, or Financial Engineering.

10+ years in financial analytics, fintech data systems, or applied AI strategy.

Expertise in machine learning, big data engineering, and financial predictive modeling.

Familiarity with Oman’s fintech ecosystem and international data compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001).

Proven success leading AI-focused transformation programs in the financial sector.
