Role Overview

The Remote Executive Director of Financial Intelligence & Open Banking Architecture will lead Oman’s transition toward intelligent, interoperable financial networks. The role encompasses strategic oversight of data-driven financial intelligence, API standardization, and open banking infrastructure — enabling a seamless, secure, and innovation-friendly fintech environment.

This position integrates macroeconomic insight, digital finance architecture, and predictive analytics leadership to enhance financial inclusion and cross-market integration across the GCC.

Key Responsibilities

• Open Banking Infrastructure: Architect and standardize open banking interfaces and data-sharing frameworks compliant with global interoperability standards.

• Advanced Financial Intelligence Systems: Oversee development of real-time analytics systems for liquidity forecasting, consumer credit modeling, and transaction intelligence.

• Ecosystem Modernization: Guide the modernization of Oman’s financial data ecosystem through AI, cloud computing, and secure API connectivity.

• Policy & Compliance Collaboration: Align infrastructure initiatives with international data protection regulations, financial stability mandates, and cybersecurity norms.

• Innovation Acceleration: Build cross-functional remote partnerships with fintech labs, digital regulators, and international technology consortia to scale innovative finance models.

Requirements

• Postgraduate qualification in Quantitative Finance, Data Systems, or Financial Engineering.

• Minimum 12 years of senior experience in financial technology infrastructure or open banking innovation.

• Proven background in API governance, AI integration, and enterprise-scale data systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of international data governance, cybersecurity, and financial interoperability frameworks.
